The MLB London Series Trafalgar Square Takeover was an exciting event held in the heart of London, designed to bring the thrilling experience of Major League Baseball (MLB) to fans in the UK. This event featured various interactive activities, allowing attendees to engage with the sport in a hands-on manner. The highlight of the event was the installation of multiple baseball practice cages, giving both amateur enthusiasts and seasoned professionals a chance to hone their skills.

Net World Sports was approached by the MLB event organisers who required top-quality baseball equipment for the Trafalgar Square Takeover. The organisers were specifically looking for durable, portable batting cages that could cater to a large crowd and withstand intensive use over the course of the event. After evaluating several options, they decided to go with Net World Sports' FORTRESS baseball equipment, renowned for its robustness and ease of installation.

The organisers purchased 13 of our FORTRESS Mobile 24ft Batting Cages. These cages were split into two groups: 12 were positioned at the front of Trafalgar Square, where they served as practice cages for the public. The setup allowed fans of all ages to step up to the plate and experience the thrill of batting in a professional-grade cage. The remaining cage was strategically placed at the back, reserved for professional players to warm up and practice.

To ensure the success of the event, our installation team was dispatched to Trafalgar Square. They worked diligently to set up the cages efficiently and securely, ensuring they were ready for the influx of participants. The visual content team from Net World Sports also attended the event, capturing the excitement and engagement of the attendees, as well as showcasing the quality and functionality of our FORTRESS cages.

The MLB London Series Trafalgar Square Takeover was a resounding success. The practice cages were a central attraction, drawing in large crowds eager to participate in the batting practice sessions.
